Description

The Division of Science and Engineering, Penn State Abington seeks a fulltime, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Chemistry. The successful candidate will primarily teach undergraduate courses in organic chemistry, but is expected to teach introductory chemistry courses as needed. Candidates with demonstrated excellence in teaching at the university level and research involving undergraduate students will be given preference. The review process will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. The desired start date is August 2017. Applicants should submit: 1) a cover letter; 2) a curriculum vitae; 3) a list of courses taught at the university level; 4) a statement of teaching philosophy; and 5) a description of research interests including potential undergraduate research projects.
