Description

Subject to funding, positions may be available during the 2017-2018 academic year in the Department of Statistics at The Pennsylvania State University at the ranks of Instructor, Senior Instructor, Lecturer, or Senior Lecturer, depending on qualifications. Appointments may be made for up to one-year fixed-term positions, with renewal possible depending on needs of the Department. The courses for which this position would be responsible might range in level from introductory undergraduate-level courses to upper-level undergraduate courses and possibly graduate-level service courses for non-statistics students. The possibility of teaching in an online setting also exists. A Ph.D. in statistics or a closely related field is preferred; a Master`s degree is required.
