This position is classified as a Fixed-Term II instructor at Penn State on an as needed basis by semester. In return for part-time employment, the Instructor will receive compensation, which corresponds with the designated level of appointment, plus travel expense reimbursement per University policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of instruction to adult learners within the Workforce Education and Development program pursuing instructional certification. Applicable courses of instruction would include: Assessment Techniques within Workforce Education; Integrated Career and Technical Curriculum Implementation; Program and Facilities Management; Special Needs Learners within Workforce Education; Vocational Guidance; and Leadership and Supervision of Workforce Education. Required qualifications: successful candidate will possess advanced degree(s) within Workforce Education, Career and Technical Education, or closely related fields; have taught or been an administrator in a technical training setting or equivalent; and possess experience in Workforce Development Training.
