Description

The Department of Finance of the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University (University Park, PA) seeks to fill at least one full-time, tenure-track appointment in Finance for Fall 2017. Desired rank is at the assistant or associate level. This position is a tenure-track appointment with teaching responsibilities at the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. levels. Faculty members are expected to pursue an active research program, perform undergraduate and graduate teaching, supervise graduate students, and engage in service activities. Candidates must have a PhD or DBA (granted or near completion) in finance or a related field. Candidates should demonstrate the capacity to conduct quality research and publish in the top journals in the field. The ability to contribute quality teaching should also be evidenced. Rank will depend on the record of research and teaching accomplishments. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications.
