Description

The Department of Recreation, Park and Tourism Management periodically has part-time openings for instructors to teach undergraduate courses in our department. Successful candidates must hold a Master`s degree in a related field with experience teaching/working with undergraduate students. Doctorate degree is preferred. Prior teaching experience is highly desirable, but less seasoned applicants will be considered, especially new Ph.D.s with matching backgrounds. Courses are one semester, non-tenure track part-time appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Part-time instructors typically teach one to two courses per semester. To be considered, applicants must complete an on-line application and submit letter of application documenting qualifications, a current curriculum vitae and the names and contact information for at least three professional references.
