Description

The Department of Biology has a continuing need for qualified instructors/lecturers to teach a variety of courses throughout the 2016/2017 academic year. Our teaching portfolio is diverse and ranges from courses that deal with cell and molecular biology to ecology, evolution, and quantitative biology. The format of our courses is varied, ranging from traditional lectures to online education. Many of our courses have a laboratory and/or field component. We deliver courses for Resident Instruction, Continuing Education and World Campus. We invite applications, which will be reviewed on a continuing basis, from qualified applicants who have a Master’s degree or higher and teaching experience in any area of the life sciences. These are semester-long or academic-year positions, with possibility of re-hire, depending upon departmental needs. Qualified applicants should submit a cover letter, CV, statement of teaching interests and contact information for three professional references.
