Description

The Kinesiology Physical Activity Program (KPAP) in the Department of Kinesiology invites applications for part-time instructors to teach academically-focused physical activity and/or fitness for life classes. These are one semester, non-tenure track appointments with the possibility of reappointment. Candidates should have an interest and skills in lifetime sport and exercise activities. A minimum of a Master’s degree in an appropriate discipline and/or advanced certification/expertise in a specialized field, and a commitment to quality teaching is required. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Applications will be reviewed beginning immediately and continue to be reviewed until needed positions are filled. Applications will be held throughout the 2016/2017 academic year for consideration on an as needed basis. Please include strengths and preferences in specific areas (i.e. yoga, fitness conditioning, wellness, tai chi, ballroom dance, etc.).
