The Department of Political Science invites applications for a three-year, non-tenure track position as Lecturer in Terrorism and Counterterrorism and Director for the soon-to-be created Counterterrorism Option in the interdisciplinary Master of Professional Studies in Homeland Security (MPS-HLS) online degree program. The position entails the design and teaching of Master’s level online coursework on terrorism and counterterrorism as well as administrative and student advising duties within the Counterterrorism Option. Successful candidates will have completed a Ph.D. in Political Science or in other areas related to the major. Professional experience in counterterrorism fields and/or online teaching experience are also desired.
