Penn State Abington College invites applications for multiple part-time instructors for the B.S. in Rehabilitative and Human Services (RHS) degree program to begin in the Spring 2016 semester. The positions require a commitment to teach undergraduate courses in Rehabilitative and Human Services (i.e. Disabilities, Rehabilitative Practice, Case Management, Client Assessment, Children & Families in Rehabilitation Settings, Internship Supervision/Seminar) delivered face to face, hybrid and/or online. Required minimum qualifications include; earned Master’s degree in rehabilitation counseling as well as one year of successful work in, teaching, or administrative/supervisory experience of undergraduate RHS students; evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching including use of current technology and evidence of a commitment to working collegially and with individuals from diverse backgrounds. The start date for these positions is January 2016. The RHS major is currently housed within the Division of Social Sciences.
