The ideal candidate will have a degree in Sociology, Demography, or related discipline. A Ph.D. by time of appointment is required and previous teaching experience, including online instruction, at a university level is preferred. In addition, candidates should indicate their ability to coordinate hiring, supervision, and evaluation of instructors, to effectively communicate with diverse audiences, and to engage in planning and strategy development.
