Description

The Department of Medicine at the Penn State College of Medicine is currently seeking a Research Assistant to help with coding qualitative data. The study involves testing the effectiveness of using a conversation game to engage individuals in discussions related to end-of-life issues. Responsibilities of the Research Assistants will include: Coding qualitative data, attending team meetings, and reporting coding related issues and questions to the PI and/or Project Manager. Qualifications for the position include: Professional and personable communication skills. Person must be detail oriented and possess professional and personable communication skills; comfortable working with research software and within a team setting; completion of CITI Protection of Human Research Subjects certification. Typically requires an Associate`s degree or higher plus two years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Bachelor`s degree preferred with experience. This is a temporary part-time position.
